The Prettech stainless steel vertical sunflower oil storage vessel tank is designed for sanitary bulk oil storage, making it a reliable choice for edible oil processing environments. It is constructed from stainless steel 304, with SS316L available for high acid oils.

The tank can be designed to sit on legs or on a concrete plinth, depending on capacity, and includes a filtering vent to maintain sanitary conditions inside the tank even in dusty working environments. A heating jacket or inner heating coil can be fitted for palm oil and tallow tanks, helping maintain flow for high viscosity oils. Related load cells can also be supplied for tanks used within processing lines.

Beyond edible oils such as palm oil, olive oil, soybean oil, sunflower oil and tea tree oil, the tank is also suitable for animal oils, including fish oil, as well as industrial oils. The tanks are built to a heavy duty standard, with all welds ground and pickled, and laser processing combined with automatic welding used to minimize welding defects and support a longer service life.

The tank is typically constructed with a fixed and convex top, along with a conical or sloped base for self draining, and is supported on legs or a concrete plinth. Standard features include an air vent, oil inlet tube, drainage port and outlet port.
